Are patient-centred care and integration achievable goals?

This week, as part of a two day symposium, IMAGINE’s Ward Flemons, Judy Birdsell and Gail McKean will be discussing their paper titled “Are patient-centred care and integration achievable goals?” We are excited to share the full paper here.

While registration for the event is full, anyone interested can sign-up to view the full symposium via a webcast here. The symposium on October 26 & 27 is hosted by the University of Calgary School of Public Policy along with the O’Brien Institute for Public Health who will join health policy experts from across Canada to discuss:

  • Why is Canada’s healthcare system not sufficiently innovative?
  • Should an ‘Innovation Fund’ be adopted at the federal level?
  • Are patient-centred care and integration achievable goals?
  • Regulation and taxes – what can improved?

Dr. David Naylor, Chair of the Advisory Panel on Healthcare Innovation will deliver a public keynote address on the evening of October 26.

Ward, Judy and Gail will be speaking on Tuesday, October 27th from 8:30 – 10:00am.
